James “Jim” McCormack enlisted in the Army at the ripe old age of 17. He first served as an infantryman with 3rd Battalion / 75th Ranger Regiment and later volunteered for Special Forces where he earned his Green Beret.
Jim served five combat tours after 911 where he was awarded multiple Bronze Stars and other commendations for his actions, all the while attaining his undergraduate degree. Jim retired from the military after 20 years of honorable service as a Chief Warrant Officer.
Jim graduated from the University of Montana with his law degree in 2015 and has been living in the Flathead Valley since.
He has been an attorney at Henning, Rutz & McCormack since 2016 practicing family law, civil litigation and criminal defense.
