One of the most difficult situations that can occur in one’s life is when a doctor or medical professional you trusted actually causes your injury, committing medical malpractice.
Often, in these cases, the most difficult question is, “Did the doctor really do something wrong?” And if so, “Did that mistake actually cause you a new injury or aggravate your pre-existing problem?”
Evaluation of medical negligence cases requires significant experience. Medical malpractice can often be the most difficult type of case to pursue. Furthermore, no one wants to sue a doctor or damage their reputation if they truly did nothing wrong. Careful and thorough screening of potential medical malpractice claims is important.

In order to win a malpractice case, we must prove:
The doctor was negligent. The doctor the patient hired caused harm to the patient in a way that another competent doctor would not have, given the same circumstances.
The doctor’s negligence caused the injury. Given that the patient was likely sick or injured at the time of treatment, we must prove that the doctor’s negligence caused the injury.
The injury led to specific damages. The patient must show that they suffered physical pain, mental anguish, additional medical bills, and/or lost work and lost earning capacity.
